This stunning cut of pork deserves royal treatment. Using a 5 ingredient dry rub and a nob of butter to seal the deal. Its so simple to make any night of the week.

  • 2 x Tomahawk chops
  • salt & pepper – season to taste
  • chilli powder
  • onion powder
  • sugar – this will give you the gorgeous caramelized sear


  • Mix all the dry ingredients together and rub all over the cops – both sides. Leave to chill for a couple of hours to marinate
  • Heat the grill, let the chops come up to room temperature. Pat the chops dry and add more of the rub.
  • spray the chops with a little oil and grill on both sides until cooked. Rest for 10 minutes. Serve with some garlic butter.
